I am just a some guy fortunate enough to have start my career in digital marketing with Search, where I learned from the best people I’ve known.
At the same time, the more I stay in this specialized area, the more I value integrative, cross-domain thinking from different disciplines, because Search (SEO & SEM) doesn’t exist outside of technology, culture, and people. Therefore, I decide that should be a specialist at learning: learning about my audience, learning new techniques, and learning what one’s place is among the bigger whole.
- Because I love learning, and I want to document my experiment with learning as a way to blend the multitude of things I love in the belief that being a multi-disciplinary generalist is an advantage.
- Because learning is one of the most difficult but also the coolest things a person can do, and I sometimes wish I had known all the fundamentals of how learning works when I first get started on new things, so that I would have picked up and stuck with them much sooner. Sharing how I learn helps me help others in this journey.
